Paw Check reads the materials and ingredients on the product page you are already looking at, and tells you in one glance: toxic materials, active recalls, cruelty-free status.
No copy-pasting, no second tab, no account. Paw Check runs where you shop.
Open any pet product on a supported store. Paw Check reads the stated materials and ingredients instantly. Nothing leaves your browser until you ask.
A paw badge appears next to the product title: Safe, Caution or Warning. Click it for the full gauge and the exact reasons behind the rating.
One click checks the brand against FDA and CPSC recall databases and the PETA cruelty-free list. Active recall? You will know before you buy.
Every rating is built from public, checkable signals. We tell you exactly which ones fired.
Flags known nasties: PVC, BHA, artificial dyes, by-product fillers. Rewards good signals: named whole meat first, certified non-toxic, organic.
Checked against PETA and Leaping Bunny brand registries. Unverified is not penalised. Absence of listing is not evidence of animal testing.
Live FDA, CPSC and EU recall data checked on every full check. An active recall forces the product to red regardless of ingredients.
Free tells you something is wrong. Pro tells you exactly what, why, and how serious.
Material scoring is always free and unlimited. Pro adds the checks that only a server can do.
Recalls come from the FDA, CPSC and EU Safety Gate public databases, refreshed daily via automated scripts. Cruelty-free status comes from PETA and Leaping Bunny published brand lists. Material scoring uses our open ruleset of known toxic materials and ingredient-quality signals, applied to the ingredients the retailer states on the page.
Treat it as a fast first filter, not a final verdict. We can only score what the retailer discloses. If a listing omits its materials, we say so rather than guessing. Always check with your vet for health decisions.
No account, no email, no tracking. Material scoring runs entirely inside your browser. The product page content never leaves your machine. Only when you run a full check is the product name and brand sent to our server to query the recall databases. We never see your browsing history.
Amazon (.com, .co.uk, .de), Chewy, Petco, PetSmart, Zooplus and Pets at Home, with more coming. The manual lookup in the popup works for any product anywhere: paste the ingredients and get a score.
The instant badge rates materials only. The exact combined score also weighs recalls and cruelty-free status, so we only show the number once all three pillars have actually been checked. We would rather show you an honest gauge than a false-precision figure.
